Junior year has just ended and summer has just begun! With the new season rolling in I decided it was time to organize a fundraiser! So many ideas came to mind when I first thought about it, but at soccer practice one day I realized that I wanted the event to be something everyone in the community could get involved in. With that idea in mind I went to the Fitness Factory gym and asked my trainer about organizing a boot camp. A boot camp is an event at the gym where people who are and are not members of the gym can come get trained by the trainers for a flat rate. In this case, all the proceeds from the boot camp would go to Wrapped in Love. My trainer and I both thought that this would be a perfect event for both adults and kids that wanted to be involved to participate in together. Our main focus after determining how we wanted to set the boot camp up was we to find a way to get the word out. Naturally, I took to social media to share a flyer that my trainer and I created with all the necessary information about the event and Wrapped in Love. For the past week my friends, family, and I have been sharing it on multiple forms of media non-stop trying to get the most people possible to see it. I am so excited to see how everything turns out and am hopeful that this will be a big success.
